Seeking qualified Sign Language Interpreter with experience with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in an educational setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, successfully interpreting classroom content; communicating effectively with regular education teachers, Deaf/hard of hearing teachers and other interpreters; advocating for students? visual and auditory needs. Applicant should possess an Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) rating of Level 3 .5 or higher or valid national certification from RID, NAD (Levels III, IV, V), or current NIC certification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Associate Degree-Interpreter
Do you hold an Associate?s Degree or higher from an approved accredited college or university?
OR Do you have a minimum of one (1) year experience as an Interpreter for the deaf or hard of hearing?
2. Citizenship
Are you a citizen of the United States?
OR If you are not a citizen of the United States, do you have the necessary documents for you to remain and work in the United States?

Do you hold G-QAS Level III, NAD Level III or higher, or RID certification in Interpreting and Transliterating or an EIPA rating of 3.5 or higher?
